Girardi Girardi
Recording artists, Steve and Sheila Muleady Girardi, comprise the Alternative Christian Pop-Rock sound of “GIRARDI GIRARDI". Together, they write all the songs, play all the instruments, record/engineer/mix, and produce their own music.
Steve’s musical history goes back to his school days at The American Schools of Athens, Greece, and Paris, France, where in his first bands, Yesterday’s Beginning and Illegal, were his first gigs, first recording contract, and first recording at Pathe Marconi Studios in Paris. From Europe to Washington, D.C., after performing and recording in Alive, Steve recorded his first solo album, self-titled Steve Girardi. Moving to Los Angeles, Steve formed The Steve Girardi Band where he recorded and played the Hollywood circuit for a few years. Coming to the realization that his musical gift was meant to be in the service of his Lord, Jesus Christ, Steve recorded three albums titled, Songs For The Lord, Volume’s 1, 2 & 3, followed by the Christian perspective CD, The Nixties Sound. Steve received a Billboard Magazine achievement award for his song, Choose Life. During these years, he has been a Praise & Worship Director at half a dozen Southern California churches, as well as authoring a Praise & Worship manual entitled, “Supernatural Music”.
Sheila’s musical background is in classical piano and voice. She performed many years as a principal artist with the South Bay Light Opera Society. A Los Angeles native, Sheila grew up in Manhattan Beach and took advantage of being close to the music scene in Hollywood. She attended college as a voice major and showed her gifting in composition. She trained as a voice-over actor and worked as a demo artist for Christian and Country music. For many years, Sheila composed music, performed, and was a Praise & Worship Leader at local Christian churches.
Together Steve and Sheila have released Girardi Girardi (debut), Girardi Girardi II, P&W, Girardi Girardi 3, and Line In The Sand.
